PROJECT STATEMENT:
Each editorial in this collection showcases a unique individual from my local area of Cronulla. Each woman uses their skills and passion to create a business and brand for themselves. I have chosen these individuals carefully and approached this collection from a female perspective to showcase female empowerment and “girl boss energy”.
While each shoot is very different in its own way exhibit, all display a sense of beauty and uniqueness. From a bar that gives the reader 1950s infused cocktail making with South American spice, to handcrafted jewellery inspired by nature, to then again a brand showcasing botanically dyed original pieces. We can see a direct correlation between these young women all looking to a creative future. Myself being a young creative woman has attempted to brand and capture this for my local community and more.
Excited to introduce you to ‘The Local Girls’.
