ANASEINI TUPOU VEIHOLA PALU

BIO:
Anaseini is an Australian Fashion Designer of Tongan Heritage born in Sydney, Australia and raised in a small country town Orange in the Central Tablelands of New South Wales.
Intrigued by phenomenal designers such as Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Coco Chanel inspired Anaseini at a young age by the master pieces with the various shapes and silhouettes created. As her passion for fashion grew over the years doing internships with designers Leah Da Gloria and Steven Khalil it then eventually pushed her to pursue her dream and complete her Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design at Whitehouse Institute of Design.
Her design philosophy has been influenced by the art and history of different cultures and has inspired her to create a fresh style aesthetic combining historical aspects of high-end fashion and modern street wear.
Palu’s designs make a statement of elegance and strength into detailed pieces exploring historical fashion archetypes of warrior/ruler and incorporating geometric shapes throughout her designs.

DESIGN STATEMENT:
Essence is inspired by the colour motifs of nature. A collection that explores the historical warrior/ruler archetypes combined with modern geometric shapes, voluminous proportions and dimensions throughout each piece. The collection is a sense of armour within fashion creating a strong and powerful structure for the wearer representing strength, not only in times of war but on all battlefields of life.
