STUDENT BIO:
Since the beginning of her study, Apissara has focused on channeling her talent and creativity into meaningful and powerful results. She takes pride in the work she does, as well as the strong relationships she has built with clients and colleagues. She rmly believes in working hard, working together and having fun along the way. Apissara is driven by the inurences of dierent inspirations such as historical references, acant-garde, natural and cultural motifs, story, innovation art and innovation method. The design is based on ‘Empower’ where classic marriages modern. Motivate by understanding and valuing the art of tradition (classic) and contemporary (modern). Traditional design is beautiful by it own story, history and techniques while contemporary design enhances our design in living today through the future.
Conceptually and visually, the designer complex components through the stylistic of posh and classy to create something sleek and individual.
PROJECT STATEMENT:
‘This collection concept is derived from the women history of World War II.
Nearly 350,000 American women served in uniform. Women in uniform took oce and clerical jobs in the armed force in order to free men to fight. At the war’s end, even through a majority of women surveyed reported wanted to keep their jobs, many were forced out by the men and by the downtown in demand for war materials.
A collection promoting women’s sense of self-worth, their ability to determine their own choice, and their right to influence social change for themselves and others.
