CREATIVE BIO:
Cassandra Faria is an emerging Stylist based in Melbourne, who specialises in Creative Direction and Photography. Inspired by movement and bold colour schemes, she uses photography and digital renders integrated with contemporary design for content creation and product photography. Her passion for Motorsport racing intertwined with Fashion styling is articulated through exploring movement in her designs. Faria continues to pursue her passion for Photography and collaborate with contemporary and upcoming labels, particularly for the sport and fashion industry where to different industries can become blended in harmony.
DESIGN STATEMENT:
‘Aero’ is an editorial that captures high speed Motorsport racing and contemporary Fashion that appeals to fashion and motorsport enthusiasts of the new generation. High impact colours such as red contrasting with black, white, and grey develop impactful imagery. The typography is specialised to resemble a racetrack with bends and curves, detailing an ‘Apex’ motif and line representing modernity and speed. With themes of motion to reflect the nature of the sport, the imagery consists of motion blur and shot with the intention of evoking a sense of power, highlighting ideologies of women in motorsport and its progressive nature of a more inclusive industry.
