Catherine Mamone is an Interior Designer based in Melbourne. Her core design philosophies draw inspiration from contemporary minimalistic designs. DESIGN STATEMENT:
Ambiente which is the Italian word for “environment”, is a contemporary apartment building located in South Melbourne. This four-level apartment building is nothing short of luxurious and elegance, comprising of a public café on the ground floor, two apartments above with a penthouse and private rooftop terrace. The concept of the design is inspired by the environment, of raw textures and natural materials. The interiors are designed with comfort, warmth, sophistication and a timeless style in mind, following a minimalist and muted colour palette. This luxury development pairs natural materiality with refined detailing that maintains a luxurious, unified aesthetic.
