Chloe Lisa Martha is an emerging stylist and photographer based in Sydney, Australia. From a young age she has always had a creative eye for things channeling the simplicity of colour with playful textures as well as compelling visually through photography. With an broad creative direction to ‘THE BLUR’ characterised by her use of bold colours, grunge elements, textures, accessories and levels of movement. Her work is considered to be known for its purposeful chaos with aspects of the candid moments as she believes that those unplanned snapshots carry the simple, unfiltered beauty of life.

DESIGN STATEMENT
This concept, titled “The Blur,” is a visual exploration of how music transforms emotions into shared physical authentic experiences such as concerts. It is a direct response to music’s role as a universal language that impacts emotion, culture, memory, and communication worldwide. My creative direction is focusing on the emotional escape, pop & grunge and feelings. The project conveys energy of pop with the raw authenticity of grunge. This tension is captured through the photography, which utilises the controlled chaos of blurred movements, dynamics and styling. The blurring technique visually articulates the feeling of being fully immersed in music a state wherever you may be.
