Growing up amidst international landscapes, including 12 formative years in China, Coco has developed a profound appreciation for cultural diversity and the beauty of traditional craftsmanship. Her collections weave together timeless elements with fresh, contemporary flair, reflecting her passion for blending old with new. Music, particularly country and rock genres, fuels her creative vision. The raw energy of The Clash, Airborne, and Motorhead, coupled with the soulfulness of Chris Stapleton, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Alexi Murdoch, influences her aesthetic. Introducing Kintsugi, the word ‘Kintsugi’ is a Japanese art form where pottery is broken then mended back together uniquely, mended with a golden adhesive, Creating breathtaking new beauty, this is what my collection embodies. A captivating fashion collection that seamlessly merges Western bohemian flair with a raw, modern edge and subtle nods to traditional Chinese design. This bold, bohemian-modern ensemble revolves around denim’s rugged elegance, infused with precision-crafted details and statement trims. Earthy tones and rich jewel hues, reminiscent of ancient Chinese royal colourings, form the collection’s palette. Delicate silk panelling trims, button detailings, and subtle qipao inspired silhouettes whisper hints of Eastern heritage. Kintsugi’s confident elegance is tempered by harsh fusion elements - distressed denim, bold hardware, and abstract prints. The result is a mesmerising balance of opposites: softness and toughness, vintage charm and modern audacity.
