Ella is a versatile creative with a strong passion for photography and editorial fashion
styling. In 2021, she relocated to Sydney to pursue her studies at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia. Drawing inspiration from dance, science fiction films, and astrology, Ella infuses these influences into her work. Her experience in fashion retail has enhanced her communication skills in direct sales and provided opportunities to further refine her creative talents, particularly in visual merchandising.
DESIGN STATEMENT
‘Luna Nuova’ is a fashion and jewellery editorial that centres around the design elements
and principles frequently associated with the moon both as a concept and as an
astronomical body. The creative direction aims to evoke a sense of transcendence, crafting an ethereal atmosphere with a heavenly aesthetic. By bending synthetic textures with organic forms, the editorial creates a striking contrast that both intrigues and comforts, grounding the otherworldly into something tangible. ‘Luna Nuova’ fuses spherical shapes with metallic textures to communicate themes of feminine energy and new beginnings inspired by the significance of the crescent moon shape in Ancient Roman culture.
