DESIGN STATEMENT:
‘FATALE’ is a fashion and fine art photography publication that explores the nuances of the notorious femme fatale archetype. Anchored by four deadly sins: wrath, lust, envy, and greed, this body of work is an homage to the pyschology and motivation behind the fatale’s allure and danger. With cinematic references to evoke the mood and tension of classic noir films, each image unfolds as a visual narrative, using fashion as a storytelling device to convey the layered persona of the femme fatale. An enigmatic figure whose beauty and strength is intertwined with mystery and menace, this fashion noir aims to disect the complexity of the femme fatale by exploring the interplay of desire and power through fashion.
