GEORGIA BAIN
Creative bio:
Based in Melbourne, Georgia Bain is an emerging interior designer whose practice is guided by a respect for tradition and a passion for innovation. Her primary interests lie in keeping traditional art and construction techniques alive, weaving them into more contemporary contexts to create designs that are both grounded and forward-looking. Influenced by a love of art, music and design, Georgia approaches interiors as immersive experiences rather than static spaces. Drawing inspiration from inspiration from sound and rhythm, treating each design like a composition where textures, materials, and light are layered to create certain moods and atmospheres.
Design statement:
Flux Listening Room is a multi-sensory destination where music, light, and atmosphere converge in an immersive experience. Showcasing a curated blend of mind-expanding psychedelia, soulful improvisational jazz, deep-driving techno, and hypnotic progressive trance, it invites guests to journey through evolving soundscapes enhanced by dynamic lighting and precision audio.
Designed with distinct, mood-rich spaces, the venue encourages exploration and connection throughout the night. More than a place to listen, Flux reimagines how sound is experienced—cultivating a vibrant community where self-expression is celebrated, creativity is sparked, and freedom of movement, thought, and feeling flows without restraint.
