HANNAH WESTON
CREATIVE BIO:
Hannah Weston is an emerging Australian fashion designer whose work is deeply rooted in the resilience, resourcefulness, and community spirit of rural Australia. Shaped by a lifetime of observing the strength and endurance of life on the land, my practice reflects both heritage and my forward-looking vision for fashion. My philosophy centres on craftsmanship and modernity. My designs integrate authentic rural Australian heritage into contemporary design, weaving storytelling and cultural references into every piece. From reimagined workwear silhouettes to refined tailoring, my designs celebrate the raw beauty of the outback while embracing sustainability, ethical sourcing, and timeless construction. With a commitment to purposeful design, I strive to bring a uniquely Australian voice to the modern fashion industry. One that honours tradition while carving a new path for contemporary design.

COLLECTION STATEMENT:
‘Cinch’ is a collection that embraces the romance, restraint, and quiet force of memory drawn from growing up in the Australian outback. Rooted in the resilience of the land and its people, it transforms elements of saddlery, stockman’s attire, and the unique Australian land into contemporary silhouettes that balance heritage and modernity.
The colour pallette consists of earth tones of saddle brown, dusty red, ochre and muted greens, and materials such as leather, wool, cotton and denim evoke durability and comfort. Through deconstruction and reconstruction, Cinch explores how memory, material, and identity intertwine, reflecting a landscape and spirit shaped by endurance, renewal, and the enduring bond between body and place.
