DESIGN STATEMENT:
Centered around the idea of shape and form, Balance delves into a world of scale, perspective and proportion. Structured through the use of sepia tones and creative sets that focus on both spherical and geometric forms, Balance aims to redefine the way in which shapes and forms are viewed. With strong and surreal silhouettes at the front of mind, utilizing these muted hues allow for these forms to be highlighted and contoured with the light. Ultimately deepening this exploration of shapes and forms and altering the way in which they are perceived.
PERSONAL STATEMENT:
Isobel Spanos is a creative director and stylist based in Melbourne, Australia. Using her strong skills in styling, photography and co-ordinating creative teams, Isobel’s work blends simplicity and experimental silhouettes as she delves into the world of beauty and fashion photography. Dedicated to pushing boundaries, Isobel utilises her evolving skills in photography, lighting and creative direction in order to create refined creative outcomes. Drawn to soft, muted and cohesive hues, Isobel utilizes these creative skills throughout her work in order to produce surreal compositions. Ultimately, highlighting the power in scale, texture and form to redefine and challenge the limits of how forms can be perceived.
