CREATIVE BIO:
Jasmin Hagopian is an emerging Sydney-based designer who has had a lifelong
affinity for creative endeavours. From drawing on walls as a toddler, to studying a
Bachelor of Fashion Design in her twenties, she has developed adept skills across fashion design, digital design and illustration.
Hagopian is passionate about creating garments that express a bold and structured style; and through her work, aims to incorporate her connection to travel, the natural world, and her Armenian-Chilean heritage. Inspired by a diversity of culture and experiences, she strives to have a career that expresses experimentation, connection and individuality through artistry.

DESIGN STATEMENT:
DUNES OF DUSK is an Autumn/Winter womenswear collection embodying the
nchanting beauty of the desert; merging strength with softness. Inspired by the nature of sand ripples, an undulating quilted texture has been created and applied across looks.
In conjunction, warm tones and luxurious Italian wools and silks are used to reflect the rich hues of desert sunsets.
Each look fuses corset and sportswear archetypes, showcasing utilitarian forms and
refined lines in statement outerwear and structured silhouettes. This combination
celebrates femininity and a connection to nature. More than just a collection, DUNES OF DUSK invites the wearer to explore the gap between tradition and modernity, while
highlighting the timeless allure of the desert’s enchantment
