CONCEPT STATEMENT:
‘Solace’ meaning comfort and consolidation is explored through water in this lifestyle
editorial. Throughout the editorial feelings of comfort, calmness and familiarity are
portrayed allowing the audience to relate through their own experiences and memories.
In using a combination of in-studio and location shoots, water is explored in its elemental
form with various shots of droplets and splashes. The dynamic interaction between humanity and water is also explored through; wetsuits, swimwear, skincare, surfing, ocean and pools.
