BIO:

Logan Vulin is a stylist and a photographer having moved from a vineyard in regional Victoria to Melbourne, in an effort to explore his passion within fashion photography and advertising in a fast paced new and elevated enviorment. Logan is known for his work in fashion photography having excelled at photographing male models, in a minimalist black and white aesthetic which inevitably became staples in Logan's formulae. Logan often draws inspiration from challenging the idea of traditional gender specific sterotypes by photographing masculine men, in a more feminine style to contribute to the exposure of genderless fashion. During Logan's studys at the whitehouse institute of design melbourne Logan was awarded a student award during the second trimester. 

CONCEPT STATEMENT

Dover street market is a well known british luxury multi-brand retailer known for their avant garde streetwear, immersive experiences in store and their exclusive collaborations with other labels (Brain, 2022). Dover street was originally founded in september 2004 by comme de garcon owner and founder Rei Kawakubo and her husband Adrian Joffe (Blumberg, 2021),Dover street market has 5 stores spread throughout the globe in london, new york, los angeles, ginza and singapore. Dover street market founder rei kawakubo and her husband adrian joffe are well known for their unconventional and chaotic lifestyle (Thurman, 2014) inspiring many of kawakubo's designs for comme de garcon which in turn inspired a collaboration between Dover street market x Vulin which centres around a white t-shirt with vertical threaded black denim pricing around $195. The Dover street market x Vulin t-shirt campaign needs to have 3 x a3 posters, 3 x a5 postcards and a booklet  the campaign will be named “The circus series” which will focus on pushing the boundaries between streetwear and circus culture, the vertical threaded denim on the t-shirt has inspired the circus themed aesthetic due to the t-shirt resembling a circus tent. In order to achieve a successful collaboration between the two brands i will need to maintain a monochromatic colour palette of black, grey and white and use an animal motif as my anomaly i'm currently thinking of using an elephant motif and somehow editing that onto the models head
