MADDISON GLOVER
STUDENT BIO:
Maddison Glover is an Australian Creative Director, Stylist and Content Creator known for her refined aesthetic inspired by nostalgia and natural elements. The variety of projects she has been involved with range from fashion editorial and still life photography, graphic design and a series of collaborations with Australian sustainable fashion labels. This experience has shaped Glover’s field of interest and specialisation in the fashion industry. Her style is strongly influenced by the diversity of the Australian landscapes, including: the outback, bushland, beach and urban environments. She continues to reference minimalism and use of raw materials in her work to create fashion editorials, campaign productions and content creation for brands. The pillars that govern Glover’s design philosophy are centered around slow fashion, trans-seasonal style and the continued innovation of sustainable products.
PROJECT STATEMENT:
In this project, mg-design has created a series of collaborations with fellow Australian sustainability focused fashion labels. The series of brands include Nobody Denim, St. Agni and POMS Eyewear. These brands have an aligned sustainably focused ethos to mg-design and the content consists of fashion photography and still life imagery to promote these products. The mg-design X Collaboration series will engage Australians in the process of slowing consumption and encourage them to participate in limiting waste with timeless and thoughtful design compositions.
