Maddy Webb is an Australian Fashion Designer based in Sydney, Australia. Her passion for bold colours, prints and couture fashion inspire her to create unique collections showcasing her maximalist design style. Webb loves to experiment with bold, geometric silhouettes, unorthodox pattern-making techniques and premium fabrication throughout the design process. When designing, Webb values garment quality, fabrication, flattering design and sustainability over all else, to ensure the most luxurious wear experience for all customers. As a designer, her vision is to create unique, high quality and sustainable garments that provide a unique signature look to the luxury fashion market. Webb’s design work has been awarded a Australian Wool Education Trust Grant, which has aided her to continue her work into sustainable luxury fashion.

DESIGN STATEMENT
Cortex is a Fall/Winter men’s and womenswear luxury Fashion collection combining the luxury of high end couture with the innovative style of sportswear. The unique discordant colour palette combines all 3 primary colours in a kaleidoscope of contrasting harmony. The collection explores the interaction between bold geometric silhouettes and unique proportion whilst showcasing detailed pattern-making processes, diagonal directional lines and a kooky yet cultured look perfect for any artistic enthusiast or high fashion lover. Cortex features an 80% natural fibre content throughout the collection, collating a range of merino wool, cotton, viscose, cashmere and alpaca to ensure maximal seasonality whilst maximising the impact of juxtaposed fabrication blend between fine fashion and sportswear.
