DESIGN STATEMENT
Bliss explores the transformation of wool through advanced fabric manipulation to create new textures, patterns, and silhouettes. Inspired by the structure of crocodile scales, the collection uses both up-cycled materials and custom techniques to reinterpret natural forms. A bespoke screen print translates the scales into a graphic two dimensional pattern, while puffer and panelled detailing introduce sculptural, scale-like textures throughout the garments. The collection represents Marie’s approach to elevated utility wear merging sustainable innovation with bold, architectural design. Hi-vis tape, exaggerated proportions, and repurposed fabrics work together to produce striking, contemporary looks. Bliss reflects her commitment to pushing the boundaries of functional fashion by transforming reclaimed materials into refined, modern utility pieces.
