NATALIE SIMONS
BIO:
A Creative Director, Stylist and Photographer. She believes in the power of Human Connection.
She is a passionate story teller through her image making; She focuses one connecting people to themselves and to each-other, She does this through her raw and candid photography. Other projects she has worked on include a visual celebration of remission and an exhibition highlighting the similarities between nature and the human form.
DESIGN STATEMENT:
I Created a series of photos to highlight the many different ways individuals perceive their reality.
I mainly focus on taking close up head shots of individuals around Sydney, Australia all answering the same questions-
1: what is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning?
2: what is your biggest fear?
3: what is your greatest Joy?
The purpose of this body of work is to highlight and to understand the perspective of our neighbours. Connecting with people always has been, and always will be a huge part of my identity. This book aims to open eyes and hearts to the idea of humanity, and the power that comes with connection.
