BIO:
she has been passionate about art, fashion, and design from a very young age. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Burapha University, Thailand and a bachelor’s degree in fashion design from Whitehouse Institute of Design, Sydney.
Nedsakol is a silhouette focused designer. Her design style is often seen in bold shoulder. For graduate collection, she worked on complicated pattern making and the design of bow sleeve silhouette. She always challenging herself by creating a new form garment.
DESIGN STATEMENT:
Daisy Daisy is a 2022 Spring-summer collection inspired by the playful feminine spirit of a Disney character named Daisy Duck. The collection uses an iconic design of the character such as puff sleeve, flounces and incorporate the visual associations of the bow with tuxedo vibe on the collection.
The feature garment of the hero’s body displays a bow shape on sleeve design and pleats on the waist. These are combined with the fabrication as duchess satin. The collection referencing the tones used by Illustrator Carl Bucks when designing the Daisy Duck character “The last new comic book story drawn by Carl Barks was a Daisy Duck tale (“The Dainty Daredevil”) published in Walt Disney Comics Digest issue 5 (Nov. 1968).” that expresses the colour of its season.
