CONCEPT STATEMENT:
The Real and The Idealised explores a utopian world juxtaposed by the reality of society’s expectations for adolescents .The collection leans on surrealist design principles, delving into the realms of the uncanny and tapping into the depths of the unconscious mind. It intertwines unique print designs with a discordant colour scheme, while simultaneously evoking a sense of protection and concealment through contemporary transeasonal silhouettes. The Real and The Idealised is a deliberate and powerful statement that challenges conventional notions on gender
and dress. The collection has been designed to captivate and inspire through playful yet
