Paris Nicolaou is a Creative Director, Photographer and Stylist who has a passion for the fashion industry. Nicolaou is constantly inspired and influenced by vintage fashion and Art Deco designs, which is seen across her work. Nicolaou’s portfolio showcases her skills in design with a focus on Fashion, Food and Interior Styling disciplines. She has a strong eye for detail and she injects the right blend of strategic planning and problem solving when approaching creative tasks. PROJECT STATEMENT:
I have created a 2021 Spring/ Summer Editorial named ‘Paris,’ inspired by the Art Deco era. The Editorial adopts 20th-century European styling techniques of adorning cocktails, sweets and home-wares with accessories. ‘Paris’ imagery depicts a sense of humour as well as indulgent sensibilities and presents the pinnacle of modern glamour through an eclectic and contemporary feel. The attention to detail seen by the Italian craftsmanship of the Venetian glasses and Waterford Crystal glasses ultimately depicts the Art Deco heritage, along with labels that are featured such as Versace, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Bulgari, and Cartier.
