Patrick McCormack is an independent fashion designer from Sydney, Australia. He delivers hand cut and sewn garments from his Sydney Studio. His work is strongly informed by various subcultures, with a focus on rich, eclectic fabrication, combining textures and high quality construction.
COLLECTION STATEMENT:
The Miami Maximalist is a Spring Summer 2021 collection. It’s roots lie in the iconic style, aesthetic and feel of Miami in the 90’s, in particular the colourful nightlife where hedonism was was a way of life. This collection showcases an eclectic, sometimes discordant blend of bold prints, and vibrant colours, mixed together to create a sophisticated, somewhat daring look. Classic, elegant womenswear silhouettes are featured throughout the collection, with the fabrication providing romance
