DESIGN STATEMENT:
‘Tidal Glow’ is a fashion and beauty story that explores the blend between the underwater world with human artistry. Through the tranquil and ethereal atmosphere, unveils the serenity and splendour that lie hidden beneath the surface. Shells serving inspiration for contemporary, high-fashion looks and beauty trends, through their unique texture, shape and structural characteristics, and iridescence. The fluidity and transparency in illustrations, sheer and wet draping looks, and hydrating skincare is a synthesis of water. ‘Tidal Glow’ seeks to ignite a dialogue on the relationship between human expression and the beauty of the natural world, emphasizing how these components may coexist to provide a meaningful aesthetic experience.
