DESIGN STATEMENT:
Slow Mood is a lifestyle and fashion magazine with a thoughtful lean for forward fashion. It’s all about slowing down, savouring life, and embracing a more intentional approach to fashion, design, and nature. With a core focus on slow fashion and sustainability, Slow Mood highlights ethically made, quality pieces that exude a simple elegance without compromise. Drawing inspiration from David Hockney’s love of light, clean lines, and shimmering water, the magazine invites you into a world of casual luxury. Using exotic animals, interesting people, and lavish settings—stories that blend youthful indulgence with an architectural edge. Editorials celebrate raw, natural beauty and a slower pace, crafting a reflective mood where meaningful choices take centre stage. Even the humble swimming pool gets its moment, symbolising serenity, balancing the untamed with the refined. Elegant animals infuse a sense of playfulness whilst grounding the editorial in nature. Slow Mood merges the beauty of the natural world with the intricate craftsmanship of fashion. Through immersive visuals and relatable narratives, the magazine delivers a fresh perspective on lifestyle, fashion, and design—where mindfulness meets modern edge.
