She is dedicated to telling narratives unique to the human experience, exploring various genres of photography such as fashion, food and lifestyle. She enjoys capturing the essence of natural light and utilising its ability to create shapes and shadows. Sally’s expertise spans illustration, videography and set design, and with strong digital design skills, she creates captivating layouts. Driven by a desire to reveal artistry in everyday moments, she aims to motivate others to appreciate the nuances of life, and foster artistic expression.
DESIGN STATEMENT:
“Fragility” is a photographic editorial capturing tranquil moments, with the aim of generating a sense of peaceful familiarity for the audience. It is a response to the overwhelmingness of our busy world. Spanning across photographs and illustrations featuring fashion and food, a colour palette of soft pinks and warm yellows, floods serene images showcasing subjects to their most elegant essence. Embracing summer trend forecasts, fashion comes alive with whimsical silhouettes and playful textures. Merging with home trends, jelly, and various desserts present both colour explosions and literal symbols of fragility. Responding to our collective desire for mindfulness, this visual journey does not encourage longing but aims to motivate appreciation of sweet moments, whether big or small, all unique to the human experience.
