DESIGN STATEMENT
Obscura, is an atmospheric colour story that intertwines fashion, food, interiors and beauty into one surreal and immersive narrative. It tells a story of eclectic whimsy, where the familiar is made strange through surrealist details and vintage tactile elements. Rooted in deep burgundy, huckleberry and chartreuse to amplify the eerie and mysterious undertone. Embroidery acts as both a literal texture and a metaphor, marking memory and time whilst weaving the multiple elements into one visual experience. The editorial invites viewers to linger, allowing them to interpret whether they are encountering a physical space or wandering through a dream, uncovering a sense of beauty hidden in the details.
