DESIGN STATEMENT:
Krinklewood Winery’s new location focuses on creating a luxurious and contemporary winery experience by seamlessly integrating high-quality design elements with a sensory-rich environment. The design fuses art deco’s geometric elegance with the organic, playful aesthetics of the ‘60s and ‘70s that can create a vibrant and sophisticated space. Using bold hues of wine juxtaposed with muted tones to create contrast while reflecting the veneer wood, sleek concrete, and velvet fabrics forms a rich textural palette. Gold metallic accents reflect the warm hues of sunset. This design approach mirrors the surfaces and suspended light fixtures, embodying the glamour of Art Deco alongside softer curves and playful colours. This transforms the winery experience by merging into the high luxury contemporary design. This reimagined space will be more than just a venue for wine tasting; it will be an immersive sensory journey that embodies the elegance and experience with Krinklewood’s wines. The design concept focuses on creating a refined ambiance through a blend of high-quality materials, maximalist and layered aesthetics highlighting and reflecting the unique craftsmanship and wine making heritage tradition of Krinklewood. The space will serve as a multifunctional environment for wine tasting, retail selling point, and accommodation, elevating every aspect of the customer experience to reflect the brand’s commitment to excellence.
