Design Statement
Electric Heritage reimagines the vibrant energy of the 70s and 80s London fashion scene through the lens of indie rock and cinematic glamour. Drawing inspiration from the empowered silhouettes of Charlie’s Angels, the looks blend sharp tailoring with effortless sensuality. Musical influences from Blondie, The Police and Muse shape the mood: unapologetically cool, slightly moody and driven by a sense of creative independence. Design cues come from the understated Parisian bohemia of Isabel Marant, the soft femininity of Chloé and the architectural precision of Thom Browne. These inspirations collide to create a balance between refined tailoring and relaxed elegance; masculine inspired pieces softened with fluid fabrics and vintage inspired detailing.
Plaid is a central motif, reworked across textures and tones that nod to both school uniform classics and era defining stage wear. Accessories echo the era’s glam rock sophistication with knee-high boots, bold earrings and leather gloves. In the modern context, this is more than a retro homage it's a reinterpretation of iconic style through today’s lens of individuality and fluidity. The collection invites wears to embody confidence, nostalgia and freedom, grounded in timeless influences with a contemporary edge.
