DESIGN STATEMENT
Vita Mutatur encapsulates the organic beauty of the human body in juxtaposition with the pace and routine of corporate life. Elements of shapes and lines that mimic muscles and tendon tissue are used to create textures and print designs throughout the collection. The black wool pinstripe fabric represents a corporate uniform which is then styled with the mesh jumpsuits that act as textile skins with tones of deep reds, blues and nude to contrast the black. The collection provokes the audience to consider the holistic meaning of female empowerment in the working world, emulating what lies beneath the surface to be most powerful.
