Creative Bio
Tyler Mckellar-Spence, believes that creativity and environmental consciousness can seamlessly intertwine to reshape the future of fashion. Her design philosophy centres on the transformative power of upcycling, where discarded garments and forgotten textiles find new life through innovative reimagining. Throughout her childhood, Mckellar-Spence would find herself immersed in found objects, imagining different uses, how they could be deconstructed and used for new art forms. Her signature approach involves deconstructing thrift store finds, vintage pieces, and textile waste to create contemporary garments. With a focus on passionate storytelling through bold and cohesive collections. Each piece is designed to challenge the fast fashion narrative with recycled materials that are elevated into sophisticated, avant-garde wear.
