STUDENT BIO:
Eve Rabi is a 2020 alumna of Whitehouse Institute of Design where she graduated with a Bachelor’s in Interior Design. Eve believes that inclusive design and adaptable spaces accommodating all sorts of disabilities is fundamental to any public space, as well as in private residences and accommodation. Eve is a problem solver and enjoys using her skills to contribute to teamwork and spatial design in the built environment. For Eve, the client always comes first. In her free time, Eve likes building 3D models, reading, hiking and keeping active with her young daughter.
PROJECT STATEMENT:
Agora on Spring will be a central marketplace for innovation, creativity and design. Catering to families young and old, the project will provide services and space that can accommodate the needs of Bondi Junction’s daily activities. The intention of the programme is to give a sense of belonging to the people of Bondi Junction. Using the many surrounding assets of the site such as; the library, carpark, bike paths and thoroughfares, the marketplace provides services that the local residences need. The Agora on Spring will bring back the arcades of Bondi Junction, connecting the easterly residence to the central shopping hub.
